Win a match in any King of the Hill gametype in matchmaking. Completing this commendation will unlock the "The Hill" emblem. For the achievement itself, it seems to be cumulative. Or at the very least, it doesn't have to be done in one session. I beat level 1 with handgun, and continued to level 2 and beat it. The game then froze up and I had to reboot. I played the game the next morning and started on level 3 and the achievement unlocked as soon as the level was over.
The hand gun is extremely easy and natural to use and has amazing range. But it doesn't do much in the way of damage and you will need to get used to reloading, a lot.
Level 1 and 2 are pretty easy if have the room and will to dodge attacks as needed. Level 3 is just the boss, but it is a bit time consuming and quite tiring. For the most part, you will try aiming at the face of every enemy you see. This will also help get the headshot achievement.
